Production Notes by Carlos Niño:

The Duets and Trios that are the basis of Tracks 1. - 5. were
recorded at my Home Studio in Woodland Hills, California,
on Sunday, February 20th. The basis of Tracks 7. and 8. are from
a Live Trio performance by Diego, Aaron Shaw and me, from
Nathan & Michelle Vinson's Loft in Marina Del Rey, California,
on Friday, February 25th, recorded by Jesse Peterson.
The only element that wasn't recorded between the week
of Sunday, February 20th, and Sunday, February 27th, was
Pablo Calogero's Tenor Saxophone on Track 6. - that was
recorded by Jesse Peterson in November 2021. I had been
waiting for the right moment to use that Saxophone take,
which was recorded for another song. I sent it to Diego, with my Percussion and Sound Design already added, for consideration,
while he was recording overdubs on Tuesday, February 22,
and later that day we traded files back and forth, creating "Adelante".
All keyboard overdubs were recorded by Diego Gaeta
between Tuesday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 27th.
Final Arranging, Editing and Mixing by both of us took place
on Sunday, February 27th too. Then I sent everything to
Andy Kravitz for Mastering. Thank You Andy!

We got together with Azul Niño on Monday, February 28th, to
take photos for the covers of both the Digital and Cassette versions,
then we ate a yummy lunch at Kitchen Mouse . . .

...

Thinking back a few weeks to how this all came about, I was in
La Tierra De La Culebra Park with Annelise for the Leaving Records
"listen to music outside in the daylight under a tree" event on Saturday, February 5, 2022. I played the opening DJ Set, and was also playing with Jesse Peterson and Pablo Calogero later that day as Turn On The Sunlight. Walking around we ran into Diego, up top near the Anandamide stand. We greeted each other, then almost immediately, and very enthusiastically, talked about recording together, and specifically making a record, quickly, and releasing it soon after . . . That's what we did. This is it.

Hope you enjoy!

The creation of this project attracted many synchronicities and magical moments to, in and around the art-making. Committing to the production of a full album within a week prompted some very potent spiritual and technical discoveries within myself and the world around me. I feel honored to present this unique work, and proud of the small but wise team that impacted its creation: Thank you to all collaborators! Thank you Jesse Peterson! Thank you Annelise Stabenau! Thank you Azul Niño! Thank you Kaitlyn Bryson! And most of all thank you Carlos Niño for the generosity, wisdom, trust, and the guidance towards the past of least resistance.
